Mr. Rajan Parrikar and Dr. Anand Virgincar did a fantastic job by arranging an interview with Mr. Manohar Parrikar. Equal credit also goes to Goanet members for crafting questions to Mr. Manohar Parrikar.
I know of many Goans who prefer to keep questions unanswered for they believe in a philosophy day-to-day gossiping goes well with questions continuing to remain with increasing question marks. Such persons become happier as questions keep pilling. Having said this, I dont subscribe to the logic some member proposed that this is an attempt of promotional video and not an earnest attempt to understand and unravel past mistakes. I sincerely feel Mr. Rajan and Dr. Anand must go ahead with the interview no matter which member(s) bring up objection(s) and or criticism(s). I say this because this the first ever attempt by any Goanet member and secondly because many questions are still not answered properly by our politicians especially by our congress politicians. More over with this interview Mr. Manohar Parrikar will be forced to answer questions crafted by Goanet members that includes many such questions which probably BJP / Mr. Manohar had skipped answering them since past. The content of the interview may be published on Goanet (if Goanet has provision to upload video recording and if they dont have the built in provision a link of uploaded video recoding be provided to this forum) but should be definitely displayed on all the possible media outlets in the interest of Goa and Goans whose global image is being distorted since past 3 - 4 years. I think with this interview Goanetters (including me) will get an opportunity to look at the issues that are directly affecting the people of Goa and her Diaspora through different dimension. Best regards, Dr. U. G. Barad
