This wonderful email by a Laluram who reportedly lives in Bicholim, validates
statements that I have been making. If this isn't brain washing in the making I
don't know what is.To begin with, let me start with a bit of history. The
population of India at the time of independence was roughly 350 million. For
Muslims to have killed 100 million Hindus, during the Muslim era, they would
have had to pretty much get rid of the entire population of India. That is in
no way to diminish the atrocities committed during this era, but only to put
them in their proper historical context and not to have them nursed like they
happened yesterday, and have them visited upon current generations of
Muslims.Such rationalizations are wasted on those being brain-washed in India
today. selma

Dear Selma
The invasion of India by Mahmud Ghazni about 1000 A.D. was the beginning
of   Muslim invasions era which  lasted for several centuries.  Invasions by
other Muslim Sultans  continued even when the Muslims were ruling different
parts of India, for example the invasion of the Mongols during the reign of the
Khiljis or the invasion of the Mughals in the early sixteenth Century when the
Lodis were ruling Delhi. The most remarkable  invasion of the Muslims from
outside was the invasion of Nadir Shah in 1739, during which he unleashed a
horrifying genocide on the native Hindu population. During these seven hundred
years of Muslim invasions and their conquest  of India the Hindus were were
forcibly converted to Islam.
According to Prof. K.S. Lal, the author of the Growth of Muslim population in
India,  the Hindu population decreased by 80 million  the year Mahmud Ghazni
invaded India and 1525 AD, a year before the battle of Panipat. By all known
accounts of world history, as mentioned by Koenard Elst in his book  the
Negationism in India, genocide of about 100 million Hindus is perhaps the
biggest holocaust in the whole world history.
I am not an Historian and above facts I have read in some internet sites only
but it is my conscience which make me envisage why any one who speaks for
Hindus is labeled a fundamentalist ?
