Lot of articles have been written on Goanet on violence in Orissa which
reflects only one side of it. Most of the post were influenced by biased
opinions of anti Hindu journalist and media.
The Christian fanatics led by the local Congress MP and other hooligans
suspected to be from the local chapter of the World Vision of India were
responsible for killing the swami and four other people including a woman and
two minors. This in turn led to retaliation by Swami's followers which led
to a violent backlash against churches and Christian missionaries in Orissa.
This attempt on the Swami's life was the 10th such attempt and was a well
planned attempt by these missionaries. The WVI is a fundamentalist
organization committed to harvesting hatred against hindus in India.
But you will not see any of it in the news. For starters, this ghastly incident
was first blamed on Maoists or Naxalites. This was a disingenuous attempt to
divert the attention away from Christian fanatics who did this. Second, every
news paper article including the Times of India, Business Standard, NYT,
Reuters to name a few - had this in the story - "lower caste Hindus tried to
convert to Christianity, the evil swami was preventing them, the peaceful
Christians suffered and then mysteriously the Maoists killed the swami.
What a bunch of lies!!! The Fact is that the swami has been there for the last
42 years doing social service including orphanages for girls and poor Hindus.
If he was a Christian, he would have been declared a Father Teresa and awarded
the Bharat Ratna. His only drawback is that he is a Hindu.
Third - the Christian missionaries there are hardly peaceful. They tried to
kill the swami some 9 times before and succeeded in the tenth. In this attempt
they used automatics and lobbed grenades including killing a small child and a
lady.
But then these are things that will be buried in the middle of nowhere. After
all, the self hating Hindu can be beaten, bullied, shouted at, abused and the
truth will never come out. This is the sad saga of Hindu history over
millennia. The most discriminated people, with 100 million slaughtered during
the Islamic conquest continue to bear the brunt of this needless aggression by
media. We will have Brown Sahibs lecture to us how we evil Hindus are
fanatical, how the swami is evil and how Sonia madam and her Christian backers
can all save our souls by harvesting them.
This is a lie in the same breath as the so called Kashmir struggle. For the
past 10 years, Hindu kids have grown up thinking that all Kashmiri Muslims are
nice people with a small minority who are fanatical. The cries of murderous
KashmirI mobs including men, women and children shouting Hindu Dogs, India
will burn, Lashkar is here, a land of allah for the pure should have put paid
to that illusion. Hopefully this act will atleast start some people to question
the bonafides of "peaceful christianity". Aggression and conquest whether
peaceful or pretending to be peaceful is conquest nonetheless.
In the meantime as we and pray that for the Swamiji and hope he finds the
parmatma, we must also be vigilant not to harm innocent men, women and kids who
happen to be christian. If they are chrisitan, it is just a reflection that we
failed in our duty to keep our brothers and sisters together. Let us keep doing
the good work the swami started - caring for our children, for our weak and
poor and find god through good karma
