Samir,
I don't know what kind of biases you have about "typical" second generation
Indian Americans, but it is up to you whether you want to use them against
every one you do not know.

It is inappropriate for any NRI to get involved in Indian politics. It is
ridiculous for anyone to suggest that they should get involved in booking
criminals and rioters in India. But they can contribute in the social, economic
and cultural sphere, which many second generation Indian Americans are doing,
typical or otherwise. I have already told you separately how much Sonal Shah is
doing in this regard (Please see www.indicorps.org for just one example).

The rest of what you have written has already been addressed by my previous
posts. You either believe that the shameful negative political campaigning
tactics of innuendo, guilt by association and demonization are wrong or you
don't. One day when these political activists use these tactics against you or
your relatives and friends you will realize what their dishonorable behavior is
all about. On that day, I will be there to defend you.

Cheers,

Santosh
