Albert writes;- God is the centre of the earth. We ought to pray to Him
directly. Did you notice Jesus also prayed to His father ? In Getsimani when he
was suffering and could not accept the cross he prayed to His Father. Are you
going to pray only when you have to take the cross ? then you are selfish. Many
of us pray out of fear that God may throw us in hell, punish us with sickness
and we want him to keep us out from danger. We are selfish. We think only of
our self. In the first case when one enters the church we enter it selfishly. I
have seen many people at the time of giving peace are not ready to even see
their neighbour. We just go to church out of routine. We do not have any kind
of fellowship at all. Our sunday should be the day of fellowship. How can we
have fellowship when we do not know how to love anyone in this world ? There is
no love between husband and wife, no love between children and parents, no love
between neighbours. We are not in talking terms with some of our neighbours.
Our morning prayers begin with a taught whom to rob today, which property
should I grab today. It is because ofthis selfish attitude we have corruption
been born along with us. Today we are surrounded by selfish and greedy people
some of them may be living with you as your family members. We are given to
understand that only catholics can enter into the kingdom. we think that if we
are baptised we have every right of heaven. Where is God ? Is He in the church
? or is He in our hearts. When Moses saw the burning bush he only heard God
talking to him. He had no form. None has any right to bluff people into a
belief that God is here and God is there. God is everywhere. God does not have
any form of human being or animal or bird. God has clearly told Moses " I am
who am." These words must be understood first by the clergy then by lay people.
While God has not drawn any line or put any boundary between Him and us why do
human being consider themselves as gods ?when God himself nor Jesus has taken
any titles or asked us to address Him with titles why do human beings expect
other human beings with earthly kings titles ? is it not foolish ? why people
want earthly rewards ?
