Label or Chival Regal or Black Dog?
Or are you comparing it with Blue Label or Royal Salute?
Isn't everything relative? Perhaps you still remember that Goans immediately
after 1961 after the scotch was depleted, were quite happy with Solan # 1
and heaven forbid the locally distilled Lighthouse?

When I attend parties hosted by these folks, I intentionally turn down
their offers of whiskey (usually something very gross like Red label
JW, White Horse or VAT 69) or some very cheap red wine. And the
reaction is uniformly (akin to) "Arre yaar, what kind of Gowan are
you, You are not taking Hot Drinks?". I find it much opportune to have
Club Soda on the rocks.
