I wholeheartedly agree with Rajan.
Stop all development especially which comes from the government.
The only development we want to see from the elected government is the
development of INSFRASTRUCTURE.
When this is done in an honest and sincere manner, all other development
will take place by itself.
That too, the government must scrutinize if it is beneficial of GOA AND
GOANS.
Cheers

Subject: [Goanet] Say NO to DEVELOPMENT in Goa
To Goanet -
Every single time there is opposition to a 'development' project in Goa,
ministers, politicians, their agents in the GCCI, and their paid whores in
the
Goan media make public declarations about the opposers, casting them
as "anti-development" and putting them on the defensive. The activists
who are opposing all these Goa-destroying projects are then forced to take
great pains to point out that "we are not against development."
I say, it is TIME TO STOP THIS CHARADE.
Let us all say without any apology and without any qualifiers:
WE DO NOT WANT ANY DEVELOPMENT IN GOA.
For we have seen what the politicians, builders, miners and GCCI
mean by 'development.' To them it always involves (a) land conversion
(b) construction (c) digging and (d) a chance to import zillion more
ghatis into Goa.
