This will be sweet music to Digu's ears. He will simply label projects as "INFRASTRUCTURE." End of story. (Digu should be frog-marched and put behind bars. If the CBI had any teeth, that is what would have happened.) Why must the government scrutinize anything when you know the government is hellbent on destroying Goa and Goans? Haven't the past 10 years taught us anything? Haven't you seen Digu-baba's Moti Dongor and his quote that he doesn't need votes from Goans? The govt SHOULD STAY OUT of people's lives and anything that involves land, construction, and mining (fantasy, I know, but just saying). What Goans want are the essentials we took for granted not long ago: clean & reliable water supply, electricity, clean surroundings, and the quiet and peace we were accustomed to. The govt of Goa has done everything in its power to take these away from us, and brought the misery of India to our shores. Within a span of 10-12 years, Goa has been Third World-ized. In other words, Goa now looks like the rest of India - i.e., like sh*t. ps: Expect Digu to soon join the Special Status orchestra. Timblo perhaps already has the music scored for him. Accompanying him in the bass section will be the migrant editors. Datta Naik may be recruited into the cymbals section. Grab your ticket right now for a front row seat. Regards, r
