Let's be very careful before making statements that we cannot substantiate.

Dear Dr. Barad,

Thanks 5/5 for you clarifying post.
In my case:
After the consumption of 'statins' to control my cholesterol etc. my 'homocysteine' levels went up to 27 whereas the normal levels are from 9 to 12.5. I had to drastically ingest 'folic acid' via tabs and spinach, which I still do.

I fully endorse what you have stated.

My reply:

This is in addition to my earlier views. Lie, if repeated often enough and long enough, people believe it and it eventually becomes the truth. It is an erroneous belief that 'heart attacks result from elevated blood cholesterol that is due primarily to increased saturated fat consumption'. This myth has been perpetrated and perpetuated by the cholesterol cartel of low-fat food; by lipid lowering drug manufacturers, by prestigious organizations and by
physicians that are the recipients of drug manufacturers' largesse. They
don't even want anyone know the actual composition of saturated fat that is
contained in coconut oil. This is the very fate why saturated fat rich
coconut oil received bad name!

Best regards,

U. G. Barad
