1: There were no personal aspersions cast on the person or character of Ms. Miranda whom I don't even know. 2: The erstwhile Save Goa Movement managed to hoodwink some very decent and reputable Goan individuals. 3: As an example, I can cite Mr. Servo Fernandes, former Director of Transport (he had retired by then) who actively canvassed for the movement, to the extent that he said that the leader of the movement, a prominent politician from South Goa was a changed man and that he had learned from his past mistakes. 4: But wise Moira Goans always maintain, "Sunneachi shempddi noyen ghali torui vankddi ti vankddi" 5: If the movement is genuine as vouched by you then I too wish it all the best though I have my own personal reservations regarding its effectiveness. 6: I do admire your logical arguments on Goanet as they make Goanet rather lively and often 'stir the pot', again with the rider that I may not always agree with you! Dear Tonybab, re #1: I know. No sensible person could cast any aspersions on a person like Camen. re# 3: Anyone who believes that politicians "learn from their mistakes", needs a psychiatrist. re#4: Moidecars are responsible for the Sanskritization of our Konkani - IF they claim that the 'mhunnem' is theirs. re#6: I, myself, do not agree with everything I write; besides, I do use Goanet for therapy - especially after a difficult day or week. So, I often stir the pot. I do realize that some folks might be wondering "Porque" "Kityak", "Kashala", "Kyon" + "Whyfor only"?. But remember this .....folks like Marlon Menezes, Rene Barreto, Jorge de Abreu Noronha and Paulo Colaco-Dias have a long history with Goanet. We all worked very hard in the ICU aka Goalink when Goanet was in that 9 month coma! Ah ...that is time ....when Eddie Fernandes resigned and Viviana traveled to London.....and Ema and I traveled to Lisbon et London etc etc etc. jc
