Don't get me wrong, I haven't found any audio player as good as XMMS. It does what it have to do, it does it extremelly well, and it's resource usage is very well thought. But, I won't install the whole GTK+ 1 just to have XMMS. It would go against XMMS "philosophy" of using the least resources needed. What I want is a player like XMMS (more on the usage of resources than on features or "look alike") for GTK2. There was a time when XMMS and Gimp were great applications. One (XMMS) didn't cope with change (GTK2) the other (Gimp) didn't cope with evolution (e.g. 16-bit image manipulation). I really hope both apps become what they once were. -- Rafael _______________________________________________ gobolinux-devel mailing list gobolinux-devel@lists.gobolinux.org http://lists.gobolinux.org/mailman/listinfo/gobolinux-devel
