You presume that my app has a web front end. Most of the users of this particular app are iPhone clients, and the developer responsible for that code has moved on to other projects.
...and actually, there does seem to be a vast chasm between successful apps and unsuccessful ones. I'm not entirely certain why. It may partly be due to the fact that no payment system in the world lets you charge $0.50/mo.
