then why the ability to have an "available" status for an appointment
indicated as "Show as Available"

How do you display an "Available" appointment..

This would be a free for all.

I want to schedule appointments at 10AM 12PM and 3PM and show all that
are available (unscheduled) - and those scheduled as "busy"

Isn't that the purpose of the calendar?

i have these specific slots to fill (shown as "available") - these are
already filled (shown as "busy")
