It's been a month now, and there's still no tangible information from
the developers. For a site that caters to open-source projects, it's
a little disconcerting to be left in the dark like this, with vague
responses about non-disclosure agreements. Any status update would go
a long way to restore my faith in this site, even if it's just "we're
working on it" or "that feature is gone forever because of the
following reasons...".

Judging from the glacial response to bugs and feature requests, I'm
guessing the developers are not assigned to Google Code on a full-time
basis. This is probably a side project that they work on whenever
they have some free time... it's definitely not at the top of Google's
priority list. It's a shame to see the site neglected like this. It
has a lot of potential if Google would see this as a viable business,
instead of a hobby project that's left to collect dust on a shelf. If
Google isn't willing to pay for proper support for this site, then
please release the codez, make Google Code itself an open-source
project. There's over 500 software developers vested in this issue
alone; I'm sure you'd find one or two willing to help you sort this
out!
