Not to knock GoogleCode, I love the service and use many products from there, but I also can't help but feel *the Activity gauge was a bit of an embarrassment for GoogleCode*. The majority of projects I glanced through in the last year had 1 bar or 0 bars. It made the overall quality of the products seem low, which on whole it is since many projects only lasted a month before their owner gave up. However, there are still hundreds of great projects on there and it is useful to us as developers to be able to differentiate them at a glance.
