I am newbie..... Is online gadget only limited to redirecting of content through XML from content holders? Can we have some complex network programming inside the gadget? Like ping, telnet etc Or can i have some sockets connect/read/write calls? If this is not possible in igoogle gadget, is this possible in desktop gadget? Is there a way to write complex code....like capturing all ethernet packets from the interface? Where can I get complete list of built in libraries (my interest is related to networking) Or is there other kits that is compatible with this? Appreciate all the help...
