How did you get 3.6? or are you running the Windows version under your
own Wine? If so, does that work better than Google's Linux binary?
I, also, have 3.6 on 11.2 openSUSE x86_64. There is *little* difference
in installing the "window" version with wine vs the "linux" package which
contains a *tweeked* wine and results in nearly the same insall.
ps. 3.6 is a *great* step up from the "linux" 3.0 packages.
I too have 3.6 (build 105.4100) installed with the STANDARD wine
library. NO packages from the 3.0/3.1 for Linux installed, and it works
fine.
(Ubuntu 9.10 )
I never used the send reature, but a quick and dirty test leads to the
following results :
With Gmail : "error"
WIth the default mailer (thunderbird 3 ) : a mail is prepared, but there
is NO attachement
On windows XP SP3 build 95.25.0
Send error with Gmail account
OK with Outlook
