Splendid, mjt, that you are aware that Picasa forLinux is actually the
Windows version run via Wine ! Unfortunate, however, that you don't
seem to understand the ambiguity thus inherent a statement like
«sending pics (using gmail at least) does not work currently also in
the newest windows version of picasa». In any event, as we now have
seen that people running Windows versions of Picasa on Windows boxes
are also encountering this problem, the point is moot. Let us hope
that what seems to be a Gmail bug will be crunched next week, as
intimated in the Picasal help forum thread to which Barry provided a
link above....
