Hi Shaun,
Thank you for your message. This is the bit that I had questions
about:
"What transaction limits apply to the Maps API?
There are currently no limits on the number of web based
JavaScript or Flash maps a site can generate. However the Google Maps
API Web Services and Google Static Maps API do have daily limits that
are specified in their documentation.
From October 1st 2011 commercial web sites and applications using
the Maps API may at no cost generate:
up to 2,500 maps per day that have been modified using the
Styled Maps feature
up to 25,000 maps per day in total
If your application qualifies for and exceeds these transaction
limits after October 1st 2011 you will need to respond in one of the
following ways in order to continue using the Maps API in your
application:
Modify your Maps API application such that the number of
transactions generated per day is reduced to below the usage limit;
Enrol for automated billing of excess transactions (pay as you
go); or
Purchase a Maps API Premier license"
The link is: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/faq.html#usagelimits
I'm trying to figure out whether I'm limited to 25,000 page views per
day.
Thank you.
