*Anything* you add will make the API bigger, (by definition), and some people who live in the 'boonies', (thanks to Bratliff for teaching me that word), without DSL, are already complaining about the size it has now. In fact, I think there is already a lot of unnecessary stuff, like GGeoXML, as the same functionalitiy can be accomplished with some extra coding. Personally, I think that a bare-bones API would be most efficient, and it would also prevent people from falling into the illusion that it's all a matter of a few clicks and you have a full fledged GIS application. > > and I'm sure it would be a resounding success. For whom? For kids wanting a coloring book? :-) I have no need for it, and none of myclients ever requested something like that. > How would that make > things clumsy for others? I didn't say 'clumsy' I said 'clumsiER', as explained abouve. > I'm not a lazy programmer and will figure it out in the meantime. I didn't say you were lazy. :-) -- Marcelo - http://maps.forum.nu -- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
