Hi everyone! I'm new to the group but was very successful on creating my first google map and utilizing KML (data source). My KML file is very simple (no fancy graphics, just the regular blue pushpin). I have about 2,000 pushpin records to be created. Is there a way to load all 2000 pushpins on the map? I am displaying a map at level 3 (map.setCenter(new GLatLng(X,Y), 3); ) .
What I am observing is that the map is drawing the pushpins around the middle of my map. Then when i scroll over, it redraws the map BUT discards the old pushpins. Also, when i zoom in, it redraws the map with MORE pushpins. Then when I zoom out, it forgets all the pushpins and redraws the map. Here's an example of what's going on: http://www.thenewworldalliance.com/gm/index.htm I know about clustering, but decide not to use the technique. I am just going to show all 2000 companies on start up. Does the Google Map have a limitation on how many pushpins could be shown? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
