Hi Pamela, Is http://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=434 being looking into regarding this release of the TOU/TOS or in the near future as the static maps API can't be used for mobile maps development as is suggested in the updated FAQ here.. http://code.google.com/apis/maps/faq.html#mapsformobile
