The odd thing is that that's the server-side key failure message, so the problem doesn't appear to be happening in your computer, it's happening in the Google server.
The server only sees the URL plus the http request headers that your computer sends. SInce the pages work on other computers, the URL would seem to be correct, so that suggests that there's something in your http request headers that the Google server doesn't like. It's not going to be easy to investigate that. One route would be to instal the LiveHttpHeaders extension in Firefox http://livehttpheaders.mozdev.org/ then point your browser directly at the API loader, e.g. http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api&v=2&key=ABQIAAAAPDUET0Qt7p2VcSk6JN U1sBSM5jMcmVqUpI7aqV44cW1cEECiThQYkcZUPRJn9vy_TWxWvuLoOfSFBw Use View Page Info: Headers to see what your request headers look like. >From my computer, the request headers look like this REQUEST: GET /maps?file=api&v=2&key=ABQIAAAAPDUET0Qt7p2VcSk6JNU1sBSM5jMcmVqUpI7aqV44cW 1cEECiThQYkcZUPRJn9vy_TWxWvuLoOfSFBw HTTP/1.1 Host: maps.google.com User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 Accept-Language: en-gb,en;q=0.7,he;q=0.3 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7 Keep-Alive: 300 Connection: keep-alive Cookie: NID=18=wOttx...8PQDr0xH1nE7VnN5Xzh1HWLH1aElQ Of those, the REQUEST and Host lines must look exactly like that. -- http://econym.org.uk/gmap The Blackpool Community Church Javascript Team --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
