Dear Ralph, You're a wizard! Took me a while to get all the attribute lines properly formatted, but that's a big help, thanks. Don't know why Mike's code doesn't like my XML. I've figured out a couple of other small problems. But a lot of this is still not working.
1. I'm not seeing custom icons. 2. The Show/Hide function is missing/broken. (This is what happens when amateurs try to munge Mike's coding! Kids, don't try this at home! Except kids probably can do this.) 3. Satellite View seems to be disabled. don't know if that's my code or something with using an API key. 4. All of my markers are off by a bit. I assume that's because I used KMLs from Google Earth? Sigh. Thanks for looking at this mess. Perhaps another kind soul will pitch in?
