Yes, but in this case the API load request is being rejected by the 
Google server. The Google server can't see what plugins you've got 
installed.

I can imagine plugins interfering with the ability to execute the 
Javascript you get from the server, or interfering with the ability to 
access the server, but I can't imagine them causing the server to reject 
the request.
