Any chance of relaxing the size restrictions ? I would be glad to
have fewer 1024x1024 static maps rather than more 640x640 static maps.
For what it is worth, with logo-free / quota-free map tiles available,
I doubt a tile thief would use static maps. Harvesting tiles is
impractical. Who else has the server capacity to host the tiles ? It
it ever did happen, your legal team could stop it.
