My main map is a Google Map (not static map) designed for people that
love camping. Can upload/modify sites etc.

However a lot of campers either don't have internet connection while
travelling or are out of range. Hence I have made it so they can print
it out by State using the Static Maps API so they can take the info
with them when on the road.
As for being a demanding drain on resources it is still within the
1000 limit that is posted. I have no issues with Google saying that
there is a limit of 50 a page or 250 for every 6 hours but it does
make it harder when you are not aware of the limits because they are
not stated. As for demanding resources you could probably have greater
than 50 normal Google Maps on a page (I have not tested that though)
and that would be a lot more demanding (though unusable).

Looks like I'll just paginate the results to groups of 40 or so. Was
going to have to do that anyway as the maximum markers on a Static Map
is about 50 I think.
