What's stupid is making an application that's critically reliant on an
external service that is not, nor ever will be precise.  I say again,
geocoders do not know every address in the world.  If you think
Google's geocoder is not good enough for your project, try another one

some are likely to work better than others in different parts of the
world.

If the user is typing in the address number, why don't you just parse
it out of their entry yourself ; you don't need a geocoder to do
that ...
