Hi Tim- Those two links don't go to the group owner, they go to Google Groups administrators, and their primary purpose is for reporting stuff like child pornography. I know the title of those links can be deceptive, though.
For the removal of a link in a group, the best thing to do is email the owner of the group, via the email provided on the about the group page. What is the URL of the post that you want removed? I can remove it. Please warn your employees not to post production URLs in the future, as many groups have a policy of not "erasing the past".
