Hello lance,

Thank you for your help.

I can easily create the kjson but after that I don't know really what
to do with it.
To save it to the server, I understand that, but how to do it starting
from the [{"title":"GeoXML","description":"","marks":[],"folders":
[],"groundOverlays":[],"open":true,"folderid":0}, etc... I have on the
page and in which format : in js, htm, other ?
This is the first difficulty to overcome.
Then once saved on the server (and preferably at the same place than
the kml file is I presume) with the proper name, extension and so on,
how do I use it, is it just to replace the kml file name by the new
file in the existing code ? Is there any other mod to do to the code ?
Is the page modified with the new file can also work with Firefox and
other browsers ?
Is there a site I can refer to or some sort of user guide I can look
at ? (I have desperately search the web with no result)

Sorry for that, but all this is brand new for me. As you can easily
understand, I am not a programmer but a complete newbie eager to
learn. I am just trying to improve the website of my club and make it
attractive for the users. This is why I am looking for something
simple.

I think like you that the data is little complicate (its is not prisms
and little points we have here and there, but complete tracks with
coordinates, like gpx files are) and the file I have on the site for
the moment is not the heaviest which can be up to 5 longer tracks per
group. So if this one is not working properly, there is no chance to
have something good when coming to the big stuff !

At least, it is an interesting challenge which can help others.

But don't spend to much time on it !

Michel
