It appears that the best and only solution for me is to take the x/y in and process via PHP or BASH and output what I need.. ie: I can take these shapefiles shp2text --spreadsheet lame.shp > somewhathumanform.tdf Then take the TDF and run it through PHP or BASH to get what I need.
