Okay, here's what you do: 1) In any text editor, enter the following two lines exactly as shown below (do not enter any blank lines at the top or bottom):
Position,Name 0901 577133.50ftUS 1971920.60ftUS,test 3) Save your file as .csv (or save it as plain text (.txt), and change the extension to .csv) 4) Go to http://www.earthpoint.us/ExcelToKml.aspx 5) Upload the file you just created 6) Press the "View file on Web Page, Check for Errors" button 7) If no errors, upload the file again, and press the "View on Google Earth" button 8) A .kml file will be downloaded to your computer, immediately viewable in Google Earth The above example was from the point in the file you posted above. To add more points, the file will look as follows: Position,Name 0901 577133.49ftUS 1971920.60ftUS,test 0901 XXXXXX.XXftUS YYYYYYY.YYftUS,pointname 0901 XXXXXX.XXftUS YYYYYYY.YYftUS,pointname Just use a spreadsheet to help you format your data, or if you have Open Office, just save the data in .xls format. See examples on the Earthpoint Webpage. ***Important: Florida has more than one state plane zone. The coordinate you posted in your file was in zone 0901 (Florida East). The Florida West Zone will be written in the file as 0902, Florida North will be written 0903.
