I don't know about other parts of the world, but in our neck of the woods, getMaximumResolution() for G_NORMAL_MAP has suddenly started to return zoom level 17, whereas the actual achievable max is, and always has been, 19.
This means that, using GLargeMapControl(), one can only zoom in to level 17. See, for example: http://www.lanerealty.com.au/Map.html - using the control to zoom in, you can only get so far. However, using the custom zoom function in the text above the map, you can zoom in another two levels. Only just happened in the last couple of days! My client needs to get further down to read street numbers off the map, and also to display property blocks in sufficient detail. Is there a version number I can temporarily revert to? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
