Hi, Thanks for doing those tests.
The log files show what's causing the problem, and using this we've managed to replicate the problem. It appears that there is a bug with regards to the GMT +10 (Sydney) time zone on the Windows Mobile devices. When this time zone is selected the GooSync client detects it as just GMT and calculates event times (and the sync time on the main screen) using this GMT value. Because of this the device is sending all event times incorrectly (your 2pm test came through as 2pm GMT instead of the correct +10 value) and is converting event times send from Google incorrectly also. GooSync was correctly converting the event times from Google (we convert the times from local time to UTC and then send this value to the device, the device must then convert this back based on the time zone of the device) but the device was using an incorrect time zone when converting them back to local time. I've contacted the client developers regarding this problem to see if it's a bug in the GooSync client or a bug with the actual time zone information on the device. Once we have more information we will get back to you. In the meantime you could try setting your device time zone to GMT +10 (Brisbane) as this time zone is correctly detected by the GooSync client. I'm not sure how this could affect you with regards to daylight saving but it may work as a temporary solution.
