All drives are thoroughly defragmented. The entire system is imaged
and backups are done twice daily to an external drive as a matter of
course. I'm not a noob...just to Linux.

The first time it gave me the sharing option. It was unclear *to me*
(see remarks above) and so I went out of the install mode to find some
help. When I went back in to do the install, the sharing option was
no longer presented.

If you want wide acceptance of this system, you will have to do better
than this with your help files. Try looking at it from the viewpoint
of a TOTAL beginner, and write that way. I write technical manuals
for a living, and believe me you have to be extremely basic in simple
steps. Otherwise, *you* will leave something out that seem so simple
that "anyone would know it."

And no, I'm not volunteering. I don't have the time or inclination to
fool with it, and am going back to Hardy.
