One small problem remains, after I switched to a driver for the actual video card for my system, an ATI Rage 128, the login screen only shows its top left corner (stretched over the whole screen, probably in 640x480 screen mode) so I have to enter my user-name and password "blind", and the buttons (like the "session" button) on the login screen are not visible, so I cannot click on them.
However, now I can use resolutions above 800x600 and previously that was impossible. I added the "screens and graphics" menu, by adding it to the "others" menu, using the "main menu" configuration program. With "screens and graphics" I was able to choose the ATI Rage 128 driver instead of the default (generic) driver, and I also chose the correct monitor to support the resolution I wanted. I hope the bug of the placement of the login window, when the screen is of a low resolution, can be solved in the final version.
