No, as I said before there are no restricted drivers in use on my system. I do not see any "install dialog", but going to Menu > Administration > management > Hardware Drivers it opens and tells me "No proprietary drivers are in use on this system" There isn't a dialogue available here to manually add restricted drivers, and by the way, the help button produces an error saying the URL is bad.
Anyway, I will just install another video card, and try again.
