I have the Sylvania g netbook. I can connect to internet using wireless connection without problem, getting 75-90% signal strength. However, when checking on the wireless information, it show the speed as 1 mb/s. It is true both gOS 3.0 and gOS 2.9M. My other computers running windows xp get 48-54 mb/s and my cable internet should be connecting at 3-5 mb/s. Any idea if I can increase the connection speed?
Also, while using gOS 2.9M, the computer automatic connects to the my ssid. After upgraded to gOS 3.0, I always have to select my ssid from the list of available networks.
