Thanks for your reply. In my sessions preferences, there was an existing entry wbar_delay.sh . I removed that one and added the one you recommended. Went into wbarconf and made sure that it was still set to appear on top of other windows/desktop, refreshed, and... nothing.
When I go to terminal and type "wbar --above-desk" (or just "wbar"), I get "Using /home/*username*/.wbar config file. -> Image not found. Maybe using a relative path?" I get this when at the normal root prompt, and also when in the directory that contains wbar. Should I try reinstalling (again) wbarconf? Thanks for your help in this matter!
