OK. So my new hard drive arrived and I installed it and tried loaded gOS.
Everything appeared to go ok. It detected the disk, formatted it (I just let it
do it's default formatting as I wanted to keep things simply as possible) and
proceeded to do the install. It seemed to go fine until after it reached almost
100 percent I think. I didn't see the actual percentage of the install at the
end, might actually have reached 100 percent. Anyway then screen went blank for
a while. maybe 10 minutes or so an then the gOS sideways sliding bar appeared
for a bit, then the thing just seemed to go into a kind of coma. The DVD Drive
popped open and the screen went black. No drive light activity but the internal
fan is on. It's been sitting like this for another twenty minutes or so now.
What do I do? Just reboot and see what happens or just leave it and hope it'll
come back to life on it's own?
