HELLO It sounds to me like you have a dodgy hard drive because if the machine stops formatting at 5 percent it sounds like then to me this is a tell tale sign of a duff hard drive. G OS will install on most partition methods but it sounds to me like the hard drive itself which would be another reason why you can't boot it up into windows as the windows os is corrupt or a dud hd Just my 2 pence worth Cheers Dave
