After running gOS on my PC for the last 3-4 months, I have now
realized how stupid it is. I am installing Windows back on my PC this
evening.
I don't understand why people don't just pay the $99 (or whatever
Windows costs now) to get an OS that actually works. I so look forward
to having an operating system where I can just go to the
openoffice.org website, download the update, and install the software
without problems.
I was also told that Linux runs more stable than Windows. Well that's
just BS. My gOS crashed at least once a day because of Firefox. Then
when I close Firefox I have to wait like 30 seconds before I can
reopen it, otherwise it says it is still running. Then, movies and
MP3s almost never play on this OS. Oh.. and if you wanna use your
webcam.. good luck hooking that up and getting it recognized. I
couldn't get it to work after trying for 2 full days almost. I guess
you get what you pay for.. no wonder Linux is free!
