The pad was public for everyone from the start, then I got *heavily* vandalised (there is no way to avoid that on an etherpad) and that was the only was I had to restrict to a group of mozillians. Yes, we have this problem at Mozilla and most people is aware. Solutions? I have proposed several times to convert mozillians.org into a mozillians social network where you can post stuff just to some groups. Probably we need more resources to improve that (more people mobilizing contributors, not just paid coders). CCing WilliamR who is now in charge or that stuff. Other solution would be to create a private mailing list just for trusted mozillians (who is trusted?) like the World Ready one where we can discuss localizations that can't be public yet. Also, everyone should be aware of all of this. If a volunteer or employee doesn't know about this new possibilities to communicate, he's not going to use them.
