I don't know how to measure these things either, but there are some numbers available. I guess (and it's only a guess) that most of the people upset about Eich's appointment as CEO signed the Credo petition. Credo has removed the petition, but it was widely reported (ugh, that phrase again) that there were ~75,000 signatures before he resigned. I do *not* think most people upset in the wake of his resignation have found <https://input.mozilla.org/>, and I can't guess what percentage of them have. As soon as he resigned, the number of people clicking the sad face spiked dramatically. For Apr. 4-8, inclusive, there are ~45,500 messages, 94% sad, so ~42,800 sad messages. Subtracting the baseline ~1,500 sad/day leaves ~35,300 upset. That number continues to rise. ----- A suggestion: Would it be possible to put up an interstitial message at <https://input.mozilla.org/>? I'm thinking of something like, "If you are here because you are upset over Brendan Eich's resignation, please read our FAQ. We do want your feedback, so if you read the FAQ first, please make sure you come back here to let us know what you think." _______________________________________________ governance mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/governance
