Tim,

I'm not completely sure I understand your message.

You claimed that we could have supported Brendan Eich and I showed you
proof that we did. While the "Mozilla Blog" has remained silent, much to
my regret, this is not too surprising – if you are familiar with
Mozilla, you may already know that we are at core a grassroots
organization. In our culture, opinions and thoughts on things
Mozilla-related come from community members, rather than from the
official Mozilla Blog.

So if you want to know what we think and how we feel, you should rather
look at Planet Mozilla (http://planet.mozilla.org), which is the de
facto voice of the community, with articles written by the members of
this community, on just about every topic Mozilla-related, including the
nomination and resignation of Brendan Eich.

If you wish, I can find references to a number of articles published by
the Mozilla community before (and after) Brendan's resignation in which
we (including myself) express our support for Brendan.

Also, it is my understanding that we asked Brendan to stay with
us/return as a CTO and that he decided not to.

Best regards,
 David

P.S.: I hope you won't mind, but I'm not going to answer questions about
my family tree on a public medium.
