My feeling is that PC is generally poisonous and, at best, useless. I believe
that PC is actually counterproductive in its effect on human relations. I think
it is morally corrosive and politically dangerous for a society to engage in
wholesale and institutionally-sanctioned denial of reality. The whole sorry
episode is very sad.
I do not believe that Mr. Eich stepped down on his own accord. This was all PC
nonsense and completely foolish. It is harmful in so many ways - especially to
Mozilla. Sad, stupid, and completely unnecessary.
