We are talking here about "data relating to the tiles such as number of clicks, impressions, your IP address, URLs, locale information and tile specific data (e.g., position and size of grid)." Can you construct a scenario where information of that type would be the subject of government interest or an NSL? I'm not sure they are particularly interested in the fact that I've seen an tile for the New York Times 133 times. You IP address is revealed to Mozilla whenever your browser pings Mozilla for any reason; they key question is what other PII is associated with it. Here, your locale is included, but nothing else that seems like PII. I would also like the privacy policy to expand much more on how this data is collected and why, but I think that we are overstating things by worrying about governments here. Now, if we had a service that stored your entire browsing history, that would be different...
