Tom,
I modified version 6 to run on Oracle (at least it ran against test at
KUMC). Please see ticket:262#comment:8 for details on the issues I
encountered (and, a few possible bugs with v6). I think it's worth
mentioning separately that for me the most painful issue ''by far'' was
how Netezza apparently handles aggregate functions (specifically
count(...)) differently than Oracle which caused me to do quite a bit of
rewrite. I'd be willing to help next time to find a way to write such
queries in a way that is compatible with both Oracle and Netezza.
