In KUMC's response to the bariatric study survey (attached to #278), we
answered "yes" to pretty much all of the CDM v3 stuff, including:
Assuming your site is funded in Phase II, can you commit to having
PCORnet CDM v3.0, including both medication prescribing data and
hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) laboratory data, completely implemented at your
site by January 31, 2016?
We did include a caveat about medication dispensing data (previously noted
in #157):
''4. Will your CDM contain medication dispensing data (as specified in
CDM 2.0) by January 31, 2016?''
Unclear. We have inpatient dispensing and the hospital recently made a
change to pull in Surescripts for scheduled visits but we haven’t had any
time to investigate the validity of this change and its quality.
