Mike, more suggestions when stepping through queries takes a long time, in
addition to saving intermediate results in a table or adding indexes:
1. add where clause constraints.
- e.g. constrain the observation fact table to one week of data.
2. Oracle has a [http://stackoverflow.com/a/12502153 SAMPLE thingy] that
can help too.
